Important Legal Notice: This tool estimates Ontario ESA minimums and common law ranges only. It is not legal advice. Common law severance varies significantly based on specific facts, industry, job market conditions, and court jurisdiction. Before terminating an employee or structuring a severance package, consult a qualified Ontario employment lawyer. The Bardal factor calculations used here are approximations and should not be relied upon in negotiations or litigation.
